Must Have: Blanket Scarves
Happy New Years!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and is fully rested and ready to get back at it today! Since I live in CT and commute to NYC - I'm going to be honest and say that it is way too cold these days. As a little person with low iron, I am usually in some state of cold, but this is just ridiculous! Today's post is going to be about the one item I cannot survive without: The Blanket Scarf. For me they have to be gigantic and cozy - I need to be able to wrap them around my shoulders and neck to keep warm but I also need to be able to wrap my entire head and body in them on the train :D Today I wore all shades of brown and beige so this statement scarf really does make a huge impact - I love how soft it is and the aztec pattern is really beautiful and matches many different outfits. If you are going to be monochromatic in every other aspect of your outfit - you need something that "pops"
Today I'm going to give you a list of many blanket scarves that I love and some different ways I like to tie them
I love a classic plaid or tartan and this one is beautiful! Its available in so many colours but the pink would look so pretty with my camel colored coat that I wore today so I'm featuring it. Buy it here
I have almost this exact scarf in two colours - the grey and purple/red versions. I am OBSESSED with it - I wear it all the time (even just hanging out in the house). Its amazing and you need it too! Buy it here
This one is a bit more simple and definitely feels a bit more elegant than the loud textures and patterns. This is something that can be work with so many different outfits and is definitely the "classy" version of the blanket scarf. Buy it here
